The Room
Course: 3D-Graphics
The room was the last assignment in a course I had called 3D-graphics. I used Blender to create all of the models seen, photoshop to crop the painting on the easel and I downloaded a few materials from the website Polyhaven. The final scene is rendered in Cycles.
I am mesmerized by stained glass windows and I knew I wanted to incorporate it into my project. That is why I settled on this attic scene with a big stained glass window that the sun can shine through, casting color all over the floor. The glass material is made to be rendered in Cycles, otherwise the material will not work. I've created a Blender add-on which with a press of a button spawns in the entire node tree for this material. If interested it can be viewed in my portfolio.

All wood textures in the scene are taken from Polyhaven as well as the stone texture on the fireplace. The fairylights are created with geometry nodes by putting spheres with emission along a Bezier Curve.
